We take great pride in the community that's grown in Downtown Joliet. There's new restaurants, music, artists, and festivals popping up all of the time now. The people building and creating all of this are making sure that the trends lean back towards higher quality and longevity. We all are finding ways to support the local economy even though some of us have drastically different views. We are supporting each other. We are all contributing to it in some way or another. It would be great to see this spread. This show would like to give you an opportunity to explore what it is that so many of us have called home. The friends we've made in other towns aren't going to be left out either. Not only is it our goal to show you what we do in Joliet, but how people are creating a new culture in every place that we've made a connection.

In our fifteenth episode we get to interview the man we thank every week for letting us use Third City Sound to record the show, William Phillip Aldridge. We mostly call him Bill. He is the head of the studio. Nothing goes on unless he says so. Although, he's never really said no to much.

This show focuses on how Third City came to be, and also how Bill got into music and recording. We had fun on this one. you're gonna like it even though there's no music. We'll get him back on for another to hear him shred the bass.

Here's another episode recorded live for you from Third City Sound in Downtown Joliet. We give you the show the same way it happened. Our hope is that you can discover some of the music that been going on in this area for over ten years. The hub of it all, Chicago Street Pub, has become a place that people can go to find something genuine. The whole Joliet area has alot of new places and old secrets that have so much to offer. We want to tell you about all of it. Music was what got me to start coming down. I thought it was fitting to start off telling you about the music

In Episode 14, Dave and I talk to Chicago Farmer. He has been a fan favorite for years at The Chi'er. He was really easy to talk to, and his songwriting is at the top level. He's a hell of a performer as he proves in the two tunes he did for the show. I hope everyone enjoys what he does as much as we all do.

So many people have been coming together to find away to do things better, and to respect those who might be trying a different method than our own. we do this in hopes to reach a higher quality of life for humans as a whole. We do this one step at a time.

What's Goin' Down In Downtown J-Town came to be due to a massive gathering of like minded individuals. It seemed like it was hard to find good music, food, beer, and art from the normal sources. It's time to shed light onn the folks that do that day after day hoping someone will notice, and to give our business to the people building things to last. Well, no one will know if no one talks about it.

Take a listen to us interview our local musicians from Third City Sound in Downtown Joliet above the hub, Chicago Street Pub. We record a song, an interview, and a song in one take to keep the "live" feel. We want to capture a genuine moment we these genuine people.

In Episode 9, David Francis and I interview two very interesting individuals, Stephen and Andrew Becker. These two are in Joliet bands Modern Planets and The Selectones together. They also have some original songs together as a duo. We get to hear a couple of those songs in this episode. We also, of course, get into how they started playing music together. We had a great time recording this one. The Beckers are very entertaining. I'm sure you'll think so, too.

We hope to bring you the excitment that we get from being involved in this community. Each artist plays two songs with an interview in between. We can't wait to start including people from other towns that are also doing great things in their communities. We will also start to include other businesses and thier owners after a bit. Without a place to play, eat, and drink............there would be no scene at all.
